SENZ is over for another year! Thanks to everyone that came and enjoyed themselves! It may have been chilly weather but the atmosphere was warm!
Jill and Ngaire pass on their thanks to all the friendly kiwis that did their classes, and say we are the most friendly grateful and easy people to teach and can we teach the aussie to be more like that please! They are keen to come back next year, so watch this space.
Special big thank you to my family (Mum Sam Jack and Alec) and to Daniel for working hard over the weekend on the desk and helping with the trestles and on the gate. And also to our team of Volunteers: Lyn, Ngaire, Nancy, the Robyns, Michelle, Chris, Symantha, Tracey, Jan, Kathryn, Jo and her sis...they toughed it out in the cold of the lobby and looked after the bags and helped in the classes.
Also thank yous to our sponsors:
Kays Company who donated packs of Glue Arts products for each Crop Night attendee and Echo Park prizes for the Crop Night
Up2Scrap Magazine who donated 200 back issues for our VIPs
Montarga Rubber Stamps donated the major prize pack for the Crop Night
The Paper Peacock donated a prize for the Crop Night
Bazzill Basics and their NZ distributor Memories Forever who organised Cardstock Swatches for the VIPs that missed out on a pinny, Crop Night attendees and Volunteers and those that entered the most Pinned Person contest.
Making Memories who donated 70 aprons to give to some of the lucky VIPs.
Inky Fingers (Beth Barnes) from Blenheim who organised the Wine Label Competition at the Crop Night and donated the 6 bottles of Clean skin wine to stick the winning labels onto.
Winner of the Most Pinned Person was Megan Saunders from Auckland who won a Trina McClune Card Class kit.
Winner of the Best Exhibit was Artfull Crafts from Timaru - fabulous presentation, lots of product, and a good competition for everyone to enter - the number of flowers in the birdcage was 930 odd.
SENZ2011 is going to be in Auckland sometime, somewhere...keep you posted...
Hugs Fiona
