Esther Salisbury Creative Construction

I live in Upper Hutt with my husband James, adult son Liam who attends Tertiary Education and our Chocolate Labrador, Piper. I also have an adult daughter, Natasha, who lives and works in Perth with her partner Tom. My paid job is as Accounts Payable Manager for a group of 5 Burgerfuel stores in the Wellington/Porirua/Hutt Valley region. Having been raised in a household with a Mother who weaves and a Father who at one time was a full-time potter, craft work in its many forms has always been part of my life. There are not many craft forms I have not dabbled in. When we moved to Upper Hutt around 2003, I was introduced to Scrapbooking and was instantly hooked. Liam has Autism Spectrum Disorder and while Autism is his “escape” from the real world, scrapbooking has been my escape from Autism. I enjoy all forms of this hobby – Layouts, Cards, Tags, ATC’s, Book and Box making as well as Mixed Media and Off-The-Page projects. I was honoured to have been asked to teach a box making class at SENZ 2017 and another in 2018, in association with Trina McClune Designs, and I looking forward to teaching here again in 2019.  My projects for these classes are suitable for entry level box makers as well as for those with experience. You will finish the class with a finished project and huge feel-good factor. I do have a blog – but I am truly useless at keeping it up to date.
